BUSINESS FIRST: Highland Cleaners plans ‘green’ location at former car wash site

Work is set to begin on a “green” building at Bardstown Road and Edgeland Avenue that will house a Highland Cleaners location, office space and possibly a bagel shop or breakfast restaurant.

The site at 1401 Bardstown Road was formerly Highland Car Wash Inc.

If you’ve walked or driven down the Highlands' main strip lately, you’ve probably noticed that the self-serve car wash on the southeast corner of Bardstown and Edgeland Avenue is now fenced off in preparation for demolition.
